Plextor Ships 750GB PC-to-TV Media Player

Latest News Following the introduction of its 500GB PC-to-TV consumer multimedia player into the market earlier this year, Plextor is extending the range to add a 750GB version.

With the growth of broadband, many consumers are downloading and storing huge quantities of photos, music and video on their PCs. Instead of watching content on their computer screens, or burning to DVD, or even using more complex wirelessly streaming technology, Plextor makes it much more simple and quick.

The company's latest personal storage device - the PX-MPE750U - enables PC files to be played back on TV or hi-fi, including audio, video & photo files. With video upscaling to 720P (HD-Ready), it is a high performance drive with the ability to play a wide variety of file types. The device is compatibile DVD folder, DivX, Xvid, MPEG-1/2/4, MP3 and JPEG.

Users can be up and running in just 3 simple steps:

- Plug Plextor's PX-MPE750U media player into computer USB slot (plug and play)
- Drag and drop media files
- Plug into family TV (or Hi-Fi) with Scart or audio/video plugs

The device is currently available at Plextor's network of dealers.
