Sky is following the BBC in allowing punters to watch its content online.
The outfit, which has been offering its PC-wielding punters a catch-up service for a while, now wants to extend it to enable non-subscribers to sign up too.
According to the Guardian, Sky's chief Operating Officer, Mike Darcey, said that the service will be around in the next few months.
PC users would have to pay for the Windows only service if they are not already Sky customers.
Sky Sports is lined up to hit the online subscription service, with Sky1 and film channels coming after discussions with the movie studios are completed.
