Slated to hit the market on November 14, Sharp's SD-PX1 is an all-in-one digital theater system which packs a 1-bit digital amplifier, a DVD player, and a decoder into a compact and stylish body with dimensions of 368x243x116mm.
The product features a sampling rate of 5.6MHz (about 5,600,000 samplings per second) and the delta-sigma noise shaping technology that reduces delta-sigma modulation/quantization noise levels, thus achieving the most realistic sound reproduction ever.
The SD-PX3, a model with a DVD/SACD multi-disc player, will also be available.
The company will produce a total of 10,000 units per month for global sales. Both products are open-priced.
