From Irish firm iQon, a leading European manufacturer of PCs and notebooks, these desktop PCs offer an ideal solution for the average computer user.

While admittedly the included memory and graphics options don't provide the sort of high-end specifications to satisfy your average hardcore gamer, they are more than suitable if you're looking for your computer to carry out your Internet browsing, email collection, homework/coursework etc.

Specifications: At a glance
Intel Celeron D 336 2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 160GB HD, 18x DVD Writer, Vista Home Basic

Relying on 30 years of Intel experience in manufacturing high-quality, reliable microprocessors, the Celeron D 336 processor is a great general purpose chip and offers excellent value for money considering it's level of performance.

512MB of RAM offers the bare minimum required to run the included Windows Vista operating system, although if you choose to upgrade then don't expect to pay more than about £20 for a healthy 2GB.

Unless you're seriously into your BitTorrent downloading then you should be in little danger of filling the 160GB hard drive capacity, and with the included double-layer (also called dual-layer) DVD writer you've got all the tools you need to backup your data onto CD or DVD if you require.

We hear a lot of 'if only it had Windows XP and not Vista' comments but we believe that Microsoft's Windows Vista operating systems get a bad rep, mostly because when it comes down to it, people just don't like change. For those of us who are used to using Windows XP then Vista will initially appear a bit foreign, however, in our personal experience, if you give it a few days you come to realise that a lot of the new features and functionality are in fact quite useful and sensible.

Hardcore gamers will likely know that any computer with an on-board graphics card will not provide enough power for the latest and greatest games, but with these base units you can also live safe in the knowledge that the PCI-E expansion slot will allow you to upgrade the graphics to whatever you see fit.

The machine comes included with a mouse and keyboard, plus the integrated network card means you should have everything you need for Internet access. There's even a 7-in-1 card reader so you can take your memory card straight from your digital camera or camcorder and plug it in directly without requiring an external memory card reader.

Please Note: There is no monitor supplied with this unit. Design of unit received may differ from image shown.

24gone present alert!
At under £100, these iQon computers offer an affordable solution if you're perhaps looking to provide your kids with a computer to do all of their homework on, or for your parents/grandparents to send and receive emails and do some basic Internet browsing.

Condition and 24gone warranty:
As-new bankrupt stock. 90-day warranty

Delivery Schedule:
Allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
