Retailers Start Dumping HD-DVD Recorders Date Wednesday, February 20 @ 16:55:18 Topic Latest News
| Shops are starting to heavily discount HD-DVD recorders in an attempt to reduce their stock mountains. Don’t expect Toshiba to refund you the difference between the new prices and the old prices though – that would be a sacrifice too great for the firm to make.

The same wire suggests that Toshiba has attempted to save face by announcing a huge investment in two fabs building NAND flash memory chips.
