I have burnt about 10 of these discs with full length movies and the playback on all my test DVD players the playback is faultless.

These discs are a plain white top with labelling around the centre.

"GENERAL PURPOSE 1X 2X COMPATIBLE DVD-R 4.7GB GRADE A"

The underside dye is a nice light purple colour with a gold outer rim and centre.

They burn at 1x speed on the Pioneer A03, A04 & A05 and will burn at 2x speed on the Matshita (Panasonic) SW-9581 and the Sony DRU-500.

There is no degrading in the burn quality at 2x speed and reports in the disQworld forums conclude that with 2x for all firmware the will burn satisfactorily at 2x speed.

I have done some NERO CD SPEED tests on this media and the results with the Samsung drive show a very good graph but the Liteon is a bit erratic but still manages to read the disc ok at reduced speed.

I believe these discs to be a good disc for DVD movies but would be a little sceptical with data.

At the current price these discs have to be a good buy.
