A web site claims that the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) has started sending out letters demanding sums of money for people who have been pirating software.
According to the site, a chap has received a snail mail from the BPI asking him for £2000.
But like many parents no doubt, throughout the land, he probably hasn't got the foggiest idea what his children are doing on their machines. It was ever thus.
According to
The Inquirer, they have placed a call to the BPI's press office but the answer phone wasn't able to comment on the report.
