A workington man was ordered to repay over £59,000 after he was found guilty of faking CDs and DVDs.
It is estimated Peter Rumney, 39, of Corporation Road, made £59,625 from his conterfeiting operation.
He was given a suspended 15-month jail sentence in October, after pleading guilty to selling copied films, music, computer games and pornography between August 2002 and June 2004.
Police and trading standards officers raided his house and seized over 3000 copied disks.
The financial investigation into Rumney's affairs was carried out by the Assets Recovery Agency and he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today.
The court ordered him to pay £59,000 to film companies and £7,500 prosecution costs.
