Fastmac have begun shipping the first and only Blu-Ray optical drive upgrade for Apple's PowerBook, iBook, and MacBook Pro notebook systems.
The new slimline, slot loading drive provides up to 50GB of storage on one disk without sacrificing compatibility with standard DVD and CD media.
The new drive is tested and certified compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 video production software, and comes with a 1-year warranty as well as a 30-day guarantee.
Fastmac's slimline Blu-Ray slot loading optical drive is priced at $800 for a limited time, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later.
