LG unveiled two stylish DVD players showing that DVD players are still not dead.
The new LG DVD Players, DV4S and DV4M are very slim and shiny.
LG's DV4M DVD player
The LG DV4S features an automatic sliding door, Touch Sensor Button and various installation options. On the technical side it offers DivX-HD Technology, Full HD Up-Scaling and USB port.
The LG DV5M features a "Gift Box from Orient" inspired design. Features include USB Plus(2.0), HDMI, DVD, CD, DivX, MP3, WMA, and JPEG format support.
Both players play DVD, DVD-R, DVD+/-RW, Audio CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3/WMA/JPEG/MPEG4 stored on CD or DVD media. The DV4S supports also DivX MPEG4 HD video, Mini DVD and CD-G, while the DV4M does Audi CD ripping.
LG’s DV4M and DV4S offers 480p to 1080i/1080p upconversion, Progressive Scan and Dolby Digital 2 ch Down Mix. Both players get 192KHz/24bit audio DAC and the DV4S has 4 DAC / 10bit video DAC while DV4M comes with 108MHz/14bit video DAC.
LG DV4S comes with a stylish design with an automatic sliding door and touch sensor button.
LG announced the DV4S and DV4M in Korea, but it seems the company already offered them in the UAE.
