A Nokia mobile phone has been found working after a week inside the belly of a fish.
British businessman Andrew Cheatle was walking his dog when the Nokia 1600 fell out of his pocket and was swept out to sea.
He told the Sun he kept calling the phone to see if there was any reply but he got nothing. In he end he gave up.
While he was shopping for a new phone, his girlfriend got a call from a bloke who had caught a 25lb cod which had gobbled up the phone before it had its chips.
Glen Kerley used Cheatle's SIM to make the call to a number he found in the address book and had to assure them both that it was not a red herring.
The Nokia was not in entirely A1 condition and smelt a lot of inside of a fish, which is something that the bible story of Jonah failed to mention.
His biggest problem was cats following him around until he could get rid of the smell.
