media only burns 12x speed drives I am results I can see reason why should give good results 16x speed when drives firmware support it. drives show best burning speed media 8x a rise in errors 6x & 12x speed errors well acceptable limits show detrimental results when played back my DVD players PIF error rate exceptionally low scans speed tests show a perfect graph.
The graph produced old 106 drive higher overall well acceptable limits a good graph shows media it's best when burnt a higher speed 4x speed drive capable
Overall media produced good burns perfect speed curves time a very good media 12x speed burning I now just need wait see how performs the16x speed rated when burner's firmware permits

In comparison CMCMAG AM3 discs reviewed end last year CMC discs edge when comes burning lower & high speed ends CMC media does burn 16x speed Pioneer & NEC stock firmware.

The Pioneer DVR-109 burning pattern other 8X speed media although DVDInfoPro showed 12x speed burning capability did happen in burn process. test burn took 8:25 title burn took 8:45 Here we 3 tier burning pattern typical burner we can see a drop in burning speed last 200meg burn. test burn took 9:53 title took 10:17

PI average 18 & peak 56 good results although scan even overhaul readings low. Jitter fairly steady an average 11.4 PIF very low peaking a mere 3 PI an average 60 peaking just over 160 outer edge being high my standards well acceptable limits . Jitter shows a sharp increase 4x - 6x speed transition settles down 6x -8x speed transition an overhaul average 13.5%. PIF low just 3 minor spikes

Speed graph a good graph a minor glitch just over 4 gig point insufficient any concern

A good graph up 3.5 gig where there sharp dips in speed scan although give cause concern there read errors playback problems
These last two graphs represent performance an old 4x speed Pioneer DVR-106 burner
PI averaging 101 peaking 168 & although higher I well acceptable limits. Jitter stable an average 12.2% PIF virtually none existent Read speed shows a disappointing graph 2.5 gig although there reed errors there was problems in playback.

discs produce good burns Pioneer 109 8x speed produce acceptable burns NEC 8x speed 4x speed DVR-106. although there dips in reading curve NEC DVR-106 there apparent problems in playback. Playback compatibility good amongst my range DVD players I hesitate recommend media
