In conclusion 30 burns second most compatible 2x discs I being beaten post only Traxdata 1.31 firmware my A04. price yet beaten

speedburner Great i testing discs ive already got 5 - 6 movies play great way through. Seems we get realiability a 1x classic put a 2 speed without any downturn in quality. Cant wait test

pioneer 117 dvd-rom 104 hope r wot first seem folks windle Received my test disc morning burnt a 4.36gig movie 2x RecordMax.on my A04 firmware 1.20 region free.
Thedisk burnt without problem 2x when played in my Logix 3000 Started up fast looked very promising. film started freeze badly 1 hour 5 mins film 1 hour 12 mins had frozen completely.
I shall try in players today post my findings. MW. Received test disc today.
Disc silver top dye a lighter shade purple white datasafe classic discs i already have. Pioneer 104 firmware 1.32 burnt a ps2 game (medal honor 3.8gig) nero 5.5.9.14 took 25mins burn 2x. Playback a v3 ps2 was just good 1x datasafe classic i stuttering in playback i think may due scratches already disc prior burning.

Burned 4.1Gb SVCD Nero 5.5.9.0 a pioneer 104 firmware 1.32.
Recognised 2x burned 2x. Verified errors.
Quick test a Bush2008 stanadlone. Played start 5 SVCD clips checked fast search.
Recognised quickly. skipping seen so far. I'll update review when I manage get time watch whole thing through.

Does exactly doesn't say tin records 2x I'm tempted my next order. Gazanimal Hmmmm....did I recieve a different disc everybody else mine was obviously a Datasafe Classic had a white label & a silver matt finish it.
Anyway I burned a Disney movie onto disc Stomp & selected 2x writing speed.Initially disc initialized disc 2x & told me take 28mins burn but...... burned 1x & took 56mins burn.
I don`t know wether had anything me getting a `white` disc opposed a `silver` one way disc only burned 1x.
Compatibility wise was great & played fine in my players & my 2nd choice dvd-r behind White Label Media 1x.If worked 2x price it`s advertised then It`d 1st choice seen didn`t I`ll stick White Label now.

lesley received my disc morning. mine too was a Datasafe Classic White top silver. looks sent a mixture out burned a movie 3.9g. only burn 1x though. played back perfect everything I tested on. Skipped chapters easily stutters.

movie i've got an image file Wrote 2X took under half an hour (didn't look exactly see time).. Put in my DVD player played flawlessly.. Then put in my PS2 (messiah'd) played ok there aswell... tried in PC's Lite-on DVD-rom worked ok in there aswell.

Promising disk tho Yorkie984 DATASAFE / DATAWRITE DONE was the Choice 2X disc I tested doesn't work Laser Calibration failed. clearly a totally different disc a different dye everything. Seems relation classic whatsoever.
So now messed "Classic" everything went on. Maybe should call "just another random disc".
I can't even get white top ones anymore seems totally switched pieces crap.
Why couldn't given a different LEAVE CLASSIC ALONE Wasn't whole point bringing out classic in first place Oh well looks it's over traxdata now on. I was PS2 a 4X shorter loading time Datasafe / Datawrite I was Datasafe / Datawrite movies seemed marginally best compatability standalones. Now Datasafe / Datawrite forced my hand so lose my business. Thankfully Traxdata seem just good Datasafe / Datawrite movies...

Burnt domestic disturbance an image i had hd disc burnt a 2x expected.
Dropped dvd player wouldn't load up just kept spinning up. 4th try picked up movie played under a minute then just locked up. movie wouldn't boot up ps2 either.
Next a 1:1 copy fox too hot tv above joy cyberhome ps2.
Now good news
Burnt need speed: hot pursuit 2 burnout 2: point impact ps2. picked up first time loaded fast smooth intros didn't lag either.
Finally burnt burnout #1 xbox picked up straight away also loaded without trouble.
So overall me anyway....they seem good xbox ps2 good movies. was thing i most wanted discs for. Datasafe / Datawrite white topped classics worked 100% my xbox/ps2 cyberhome player.
So thanks mr Datasafe / Datawrite in process making unoffical 2x classics. totally messed up my dvd movie playback cheers.

burned a movie - bother 2x my nasty old supadrive (thankfully running a pc a mac) since i did panasonic update. movie ran bother my pioneer dv-444 glitched came a full stop my xbox running evox dvd region x first time i tried out subsequent attempts successful so might a one-off. Physically disc looks very nice very e-performance dvd-r. price right I definately buy disks .....
p.s. sorry posting a review last dvd i think sent me .... reason believe was our postman got arrested stealing mail everyone his route. clever bastard thought he wouldnt get caught he took mail 4 days running time i think u might well sent last one out.

I am delighted (and thanks op test) I said thing 1x original datasafe gen 3's til got changed.Lets hope 2x a ploy get everyone lost last time back then pull another stunt.
Nice looks,2x burning(at last SEEMS a compatible 2x here) loaded quickly in my philips 623. was burnt pioneer AO4 I a 104 see in that. me rate 1110 purely due 2x reliablility 2x played well near end a disc (in my player)which why i choose a large file size.lets hope

qexit OK my Datasafe / Datawrite disk arrived morning. I tested writing a DVD image file my Pioneer DVR-A03 drive firmware 1.90 VOB InstantDisc 6.5.2.76. 2x speed. took just under 32 minutes write out disk. image had created Spruce Virtuoso authoring software 14 menus 56 chapter points.
Playback my Panasonic DVD-P10MU portable was excellent up until last 6-7 chapters disk where glitched then locked up playback though I was able get back chapter menu. was a much better performance I had ever able achieve earlier Datasafe / Datawrite Media recorded 1x player. So I'm pretty happy. Dexicrom Got my disc today. Burnt an image Pearl Harbor Dir Cut x2. Plays ok except last couple chapters locks up.

Had way a supplier also arrived today burnt Harbor again x1 played fine 3 try x2 burning again incase was an iffy disc. speedburner Well my test disc came morning ta stealth although i say i had already taken delivery a batch a supllier. first glance i could see dye a lighter colour original classics (tut tut Datasafe / Datawrite changed dye formula again told us?) anyways i proceeded burn a copy Star Wars Episode 2: Attack Clones.
Disc was accepted 2x record now max burned in just under 32mins. bottom disc burn looked fine obvious burn errors dye didnt look smooth original classics.
I tested disc my sony dv900 dvd player isnt really a good test machine plays any media put in disc was picked up very quick played instantly fast forwarding scene jumping wasnt a problem skipping accured.
Tried disc my ps2 v5 console once again played fine. goes my pc my xbox console.
Well seems well i spoken a few friends mine had problems new classics console games (ps2 xbox games dont load skip alot loading. discs burnt 1x aswell.
Although i encountered a problem media yet so far flawless. I suspect Datasafe / Datawrite may changed there dye formula told us again there a definate change in colour a dark purple a lighter purple dye isnt smooth looking originals classics.

Created an ISO Jeeper Creepers extras side disk DVDDecrypter (4Gig) burnt PrimoDVD. Took just under 30min verified OK.
Disk a number burn shadows caused marks.
Plays flawlessly my PCs Pioneer DV-113 PowerDVD.
X-Box installed Messiha-X EvoultionX dashboard DVD Region X did all. Menu loads OK only play 10 seconds feature before retuning menu.
Pioneer DV-717 standalone boots up was original. Disk plays OK until last 20 mins del scences then goes blocky bombs out. Caused shadows I buy Depends price wether I'll clean every disk. anyone tested an X-BOX title

Results - played fine in my A03 my Samsung pick up all. Oh shite i thought I've just order 10 SVP I tried one my pack 10 Prassi write plays perfectly.
I also tried write 2x OLD WHITE TOP classics hacked firmware had hit miss results really. Acouple worked end a couple didn't although I had SUCCESS 2X Instant DVD. I always use program since 2x discs came out produced poor results me. I am wondering there a compatability issue betweeen 2 Anyway my verdict GREAT DISC burned Prassi.
scottish nutter my disc copy a 4.3g movie in my vivastar dvdr film had a few skips in middle when played my jvc dvd player i dont think discs good white label nickscott Disk arrived yesterday. had blemishes over much surface. I burned a 3.8Gig ISO DVD Dycrypter 2x took 39mins a Pioneer 104. disc played perfectly my Pioneer DV-454 loaded quickly well. Put disc my A03 (fw1.90) decided burn Need Speed Hot Pursuit 2 ps2 (2.90 GB) was a .iso so I wasnt able get an estimated time burning max speed Prassi started burn process 12.19 was kinda estimating a game size burn time approx 20 mins x2 writer finally decided stop writing just gone 1pm. disc failed write x2 my writer am going downgrade firmware weekend & order test again playback v3 & v5 ps2 was faultless.
Overall loved matt silver finish (hmm wonder why) loved appearance even Silver writing was black
A nice disc par original I tested need burn a few dvds ones im ordering c my player can play skipping/pausing.

I've only got Panasonic DMR20e so I transferred a film Dont Look Now it. disk was recognised recorder a good start!. Left recording I went work. Got home lunchtime had finished recording ok. Checked playback skipping 10 minute chunks seems fine. Finalised disk still plays fine. I shall try in my DVD players tonight (Pioneer 505 Sony NS700). sure when I'll time watch movie tho' missus wont watch again. Gave her nightmares first time round Where's cheapest supplier Thanks

Estimated time burn was 30mins 2x Stomp RecordNow Max - successfully completed in 30mins well. Stomp verified image being ok.
Plays nice smooth in pioneer drive full length movie. Recognised perfectly in liteon drive well creative drive.
Overall a perfect disk I can see Already ordered

Ripped Sum fears & windtalkers burned disc menu chapters..approx 4.19 gig.
Burned problem 2x played way without a stutter ( a first me any 2x burned media..even my Pioneer 444 )...the disk went off today tested a VERY picky Panasonic player..so we shall see. sharpy Received my disk yesterday thanks Stealth. Pioneer 104 firmware 1.20 Stomp RecordNow Max backup a film recorded 2x in 30 minutes. disk tested out ok in a Mustek V300 a Pioneer 454.
Conclusion: Definately worth a look around 90p each. backupkings99 Burnt Mr Deeds (Retail dvd)took less 30 minutes.Tried xwave & mustek500 dvd players problems skipping anything.Tried messiah modded ps2 results,seems a good disc time tell bsg Got my disc 2 days ago only just had a chance test (damn reinstalls suck!) Test rig. Athlon 2200XP 512 DDR pc333 Pioneer A03 (firmware revision 1.90). a global image a multi movie DVD I burnt back PrimoDVD latest PXengine update. Disc was recognised x2 straight away a 4.23gb was written in roughly 25 minutes. Playback was flawless in everything I tried on....
Conclusion discs going sold 90p i'll get a few try before commiting a big order I was very pleased my sample....

Tested burning a movie 2x. I deliberately chose a vcd transfer rather a 1:1 I think transfers don't play easily... Tested in my son's PS2 worked fine loaded fast didn't skip. His PS2 can fussy times well.... always My Yello played disc fine well. Ok onto my fusy PC DVD drive (Samsung SD608) also played fine.
i'm quite pleased disc... I buy yes in small batches in case decide change dye again.... once bitten that....

I burned a copy 40 days 40 nights (3.64GB) onto 2x first ripping disc in DVDdecrypter adding a AUDIO_TS dir in ripped VIDEO_TS dir burning Stomp.
Took 25 mins (roughly) Very nice able burn a disc in 30mins less I then watched disc way my Pioneer DV-350 played perfectly even paused i got a drink started playing straight away when i unpaused. I also tried skipping disc kept track perfectly.
When I first put disc in drive was reconised started playing speed a original reconised starts playing.
Tried disc my other Phillips DVD633 played perfectly well test friends players well weekend.
I now tried re-reading disc in reads back my Samsung quick 1x classics so top marks there too I think disc a winner a 2x disc 89p plays well players I've tried on. (and assuming plays players 1x classics play should it's supposed die play just anything!)

CHRIS2K HI Just Burnt a 4gig movie @ 2X a Pioneer DVR-104 Firmware 1.20.
Played back movie in a Denver DVD-122 Player problems.
Then tried film in my PS2 also play back problems.

Copied Jak Daxter PS2. It's only 1.3GB so a bit a waste a disc. Unfortunately it's only PS2 game I mo. burnt 2X probs. (At least I think was 2X I went away had my dinner forgot monitor how long took. Sorry I'm new testing lark. I'll attentive next time... )
Plays fine though. Although my PS2 seems prefer playing DVDRs in vertical position.
I definitely buy them.
GRIFF Received disk Tuesday 8th. silver finish seems identical ePro's writing surface a pale purple dye - reminiscent Bulkpaqs dare I say. Generally disk a quality look feel.
I was going a backup Monsters Inc decided instead "What's Worst Could Happen" since it's ~ 4.3 Gig.
I put disk in my 104 was greeted an ominous whistle; last time happened was when I tried burn a Choice 2X. Anyway fired up Nero 5.5.8.0 30 seconds burning icon appeared disk was recognised a 2X. Nero off could hear DVD speeding up slowing down. 45 seconds I got a burn error Inspection disk showed 104 hadn't even attempted a burn was born out when I re-tried 1X was successful.
Since I now had a 1X backup I decided an AB comparison movie backed up ePro's. In terms absolute quality ePro's gave better backup (subtle noticeable) detail.
I'm beginning wonder I should a firmware upgrade 104. seems it's trouble burning current generation budget 2X media. It's hade problems burning previous generations 2X wouldn't play in my Pioneer DV717. I don't want an upgrade because superb results I get ePro's I don't want jeopardise
VAMPIRE I received my disk yesterday first impressions good. Nice dye colour quite a nice looking top.
I had a PS2 image laying around was Run Hell was just under discs full capacity.
Loaded Image in Stomp selected 2x half hour later I had a pristine copy. boots flawlessly speed an original.
Seeing people had luck Xbox well DVDR movies PS2 backups disc seems biz. I think it's time evict moths my wallet purchase some........ UKREVREND Got my disc yesterday thanks Stealth & Datasafe / Datawrite inspection disc looked very similar Epro' disc can only a good sign I rate Epro' disc very highly (just purchased a s**t load).
I decided back up Collateral Damage re-encoded via CCE 4.21 GB re-authored in Spuce Up now where I thought instead ultra reliable Gear Pro DVD 6 I use my recently updated version Nero. 5.5.9.14 I tried burning 2x Gear got a 'Error' message. disc was recognised Nero 2x so I hit write button 27 mins later I had a perfect back-up loaded quickly in my Limit 8072 standalone fast searched moved chapters everything played smoothly I haven't had time watch whole disc evidence so far Datasafe Classic 2x jumped top my chart.

Got a classic Datasafe / Datawrite disk yesterday.
Oh my setup
writer A104 running windows 98 machine.. disk I recived was covered in grime dust. I washed disk did remove marks disk. Anyway once disk was dry. I burnt a film called nothing loose. burn was complete in under 27 min 2.1x.
I tried play disk my player none it... came back disk error...
I guess now i stick traxdata.

Nice simple matt silver top design. writing side looks exactly original gen3 silver tops (the final branded gen3 2x disc looked nothing gen 3 sivers)
Writing:
I copied a film was a Bulkpaq gen3 r2 disc over disc because my player didn't bulkpaq towards end film. film was just over 4GB in size.
I read DVD decrypter in ISO mode burned back Datasafe / Datawrite Classic 2x program. disc took under 30 minutes record i testing in my Pioneer DV-340 PS2.
Testing:
Popped disc my Pioneer DV-340. Flawless playback fast chapter skip. Beautiful. Put in my PS2 (which a little picky) same. Stunning.
Conclusion
Marvellous.
I feel DVD-R media gotten worse late a refreshing change. White Label gen4 2x E-Proformance Bulkpaq gen3 (& r2) being particular probelmatic my Pioneer 340. When older discs gen1 Datasafe / Datawrite gold top traxdata white label gen3 Datasafe / Datawrite blue top FWS gen 1 even unbranded princo play perfect. looks Datasafe / Datawrite nailed one listen us WON'T change it. one we've waiting IMO.

Thnx 4 chance test BRK I was sent one new matt silver topped Datasafe / Datawrite Classics test review . Burnt a smartripped version Ali G -Aiii came out 4.07GB . Stomp record disk record speed 2X see disk responded per recent 2x record speed a 1x rated disk debate . Started recording time came up 30 mins left running came back a few minutes later see time had gone up 36 mins left record . When disk had finished burning had taken 40 mins so definetly isn't a 2x disk my system . Verified disk also took 40 mins came up O.K .( I've never had a disk take 40 mins verify before ) Tried disk in my Neo4 PS2 froze copyright screen . Tried disk in my Messiah PS2 wouldn't read . Lastly tested in my Acoustic 551 standalone put ffwd button 8x I hadn't got time watch it seemed sail O.K didn't skip pixelate in mode so I guess was O.K in player . Why Datasafe / Datawrite bother I'd just testing white topped Classics good in my Messiah 551 (skipped in Neo4 PS2 though) first sub �1 disks actually worked well in Messiah PS2 they've bloody well changed weeks bringing out Classic everyone wanted back . white top Classics prodisc ( my PS2's usually get quite well ) Matt Silver TDK . Until Datasafe / Datawrite can get thier act together I shall simply use disks anymore . Thanx test disk .
sidneysides That's because drive PIO mode - change DMA work. It's trying write 2x because in PIO PC can't send data fast enough. sidneysides majority people seem tested movies reported excellent. anyone tried data When a movie played in a DVD player there a tiny bit unreadable data player just skip past probably won't notice. data a tiny bit file unreadable then knackered u can't access file. people copied large movies u tried rip back hard drive copies back then excellent. Me personally I'm finding movie wil play OK when I read data back (essential you're making master copy) I'm getting errors.

I burnt a 3.8G movie StompRecord Max 2x took 27.30Min complete. i couldnt play my PS2. discs probleme because i had burnt 4 Traxdata DVD-Rs Stomp wouldnt work programe probleme.

I recorded 4.1g phoenix nights ripped dvd (re-encoded in tmpgenc) authored in DVD maestro/Win2k. Disk recorded 2x reported elsewhere was nice there noticable blemishes disk. Fired up disk in my Onkyo DRS-2.0 plays almost anything sounded okay. Looked screen though picture looked was fuzzy out alignment. I tried in Sony player in other room everything was brilliant even right end (and player can picky). Looks I a bodge somewhere re-encoding / mastering. Tried again a Princo DVD-RW results
Luckily I'd just ordered so I gave one a try 4.3gig DVD movie. Played perfectly in PS2 Onkyo Sony (not too sure model no.) was nice. I had experienced problems Sony towards end disk choice 2x.
In short probably my favourite DVD-R moment. I haven't tried too brands I problems so point in changing (unless mess up dye again). Just wait something cheaper now gavnpt I always use Nero (and IFOEDIT 0.91) currently stopped stable 5.5.8.3 burnt 50-60 discs so far my now ancient Pioneer 103 multi-region firmware installed. Bulkpaq (this worst brand coasters) different silver tops course Pioneer. Datasafe / Datawrite (which mine was white silver) managed 25 minutes produce a 4Gb mixed DVD / DVD-ROM (Chicken Run) took another 10-15 minutes verify (not always a fool proof test I know!). Plays ok my LG DVD Rom drive PowerDVD am going home try my PS2 Acoustic Solutions DVD521 my uncrackable Grundig GDV330 (does anyone know how multi-region?).
Played perfectly (watch way thru) Grundig DVD521 PS2 (not hacked) skipped thru sections watched a few seconds everything appeared aok.
cdtplug got mine other day in a nice protective jewel case. little bit dirt disk cleaned stright off. burnt in a pioneer 104 firware 1.32. took 25 mins burn a 4 gig movie(windtalkers). playback was flawless a Philips 622

Burned duplicater pioneer a04 firmware 1.31 (for traxdata 2x also ) burned problems 2x.
Watched back PC 3 various players without one glitch when skipping chapters watching 8x players jittering near end.

Now lets hope Datasafe / Datawrite keep DVDR in stock a couple hundred thousand run then change again.
I think price hard beat only downside I able buy a printable version without print silverside (But I guess we wouldnt know was genuine then)
