In order encoding program codec detect when there's a cut (as it's called movie makers) occurr first frame new scene a keyframe. can achieved mpeg2aviAr (part AviRevolution 2.1) m4c installing DivX VKI codec. use latter don't worry encoder... every program can encode DivX then result in files keyframes scene changes. VKI when properly (that applies first way) can help increase quality reduce amount keyframes may lead higher quality again because especially lower bitrates too keyframes give a worse quality. VM2 Short version VKI + MM4 + VBR MP3 VOB Files .VOB files default format DVD movies. files may contain streams audio/video "multiplexed" together (for example chapters/language selections). files once Ripped can played back any DVD player software supports file opening feature. .VOB files a specific naming standard located VTS .VOB where first numbers stand Title number second stands Section number. (Example - vts_01_1.vob). whole movie usually contained one title rest titles contain extras bonus tracks trailers etc. Video_ts.vob usually contains main menu information. section title cannot exceed 0.99GB in size.

Chodax/Daoc Mine arrived morning burning an xbox backup we speak LET GAMES BEGIN I pakaging look a quality disc there was a single micro spec dust writing surface always bodes well. I post back later give a heads up how disc fared.

Update : Tested disk in 104 Nero 5.5.9.4 burning Evolution one special features swapped a trailer fit. Burned without issues disks so far.
Put disk in ASUS 16x DVD-Rom drive disk reads very fast. Movie plays perfectly in PowerDVD XP. Skipping movie gives a very rapid seek time.
Plays in Sharp DV-600 too difficutly drive had an easy read any disk so far so was supprise.
I rate par Whitelabel disks i currently use movie backups. Hard really judge a single burn though.

Pioneer A03 writer accepted disc PrassiPrimo DVD pretty much instantly recognised blank DVD-R (some discs take forever recognised). Burnt a full DVD rip Romeo Bleeding. Checked disc burning there was 1 blemish in writing surface.
Watched movie in Pioneer 717 standalone player disc recognised straight away DVD continued play without defect.
Checked again in PS2 (chapter flicked) again flawless playback. again (chapter flicked) in PC Power DVD - faults watching movie I then fast forward went whole movie again I poor media player 'loses plot' a little there problems disc.
EDIT - I had another discs floating around so a test I burnt 'Enemy Gates' (DTS) time dye had visible marks in burn (unlike first test disc) again playback was flawless in players blocks artifacts present. Permanent fast forward again showed problems.

I burned an SVCD first disc Nero my TEAC writer. works great in my DVD player alot better an unbranded one i tried yesterday.

Done 79 mins 53 seconds audio taken mp3's onto second disc. Burned compilation Nero. plays fine CD players in house heres a short list. Sega Dreamcast Sony PS2 Pioneer DVD player a 10 year old philips CD player. only thing doesn't play my Toshiba SD-2109 DVD player. only disc plays Princo Phthalocyanine (type pale blue dye.

A three disc SVCD was copied discs 4,5 6. Great playback my Pioneer DV-340 standalone. glitches all.

Damn fine discs especially considering cheap price. Maximus disks good any ive tried burning 24x.....pc/audio/psx ps2 burned read fine....brought down 12x psx ...you know how farty lasers getting.

I've got a Ricoh MP7200A 20x10x40 I Nero 5.5.8.2 only recognised 12x so I burnt first cd then turned off Justspeed option in Nero burnt second 20x. cd's burnt ok played in my standalone dvd player without any problems. try different programs post results soon I done so

I'm going burn 3 audio cd's 1 drive. (these mp3's converted nero)
1) I burnt first a plextor tested in My car's cd player a Kenwood kdc 4070r. wife's sony my home player a Aiwa Nsx999. disk worked fine three was burnt 12x.
2) music burn't 8x dvd writer worked three again problems...
3) Lg firewire writer burnt 24x again worked three.. writers above defaulted highest writing speed in nero I did was change writer pull down menu. Bob Kind_of_magic

I say I tested 12x upto 24x clone & nero -- burning & playback was excellent & I buying disks B-Master 10 BLANKS arrived morning in shrink wrap testign a 40x PLEXTOR soon i get back work i test out a few VCDS SVCD max SPEED Purple Patch Received mine yesterday morning. Burned 3 SVCDs @ 8x 2 VCDs @ 8x (on copybox) 3 audios @ 24x a 24/10/40 Plextor. excellent results. can keep quality up level (unlike manufacturers) then Bulkpaq onto a winner especially price.
Aymo blitzed mine 24x ease - problems side. Nice matt finish well - fingermarks don't show up too easily
Spook Dye extremely light yellow colour - almost exactly in colour Memorex GL59228 24x CDRs ever so slightly lighter.
Printing disc isn't brilliant - there look little paint dots unprinted part around spindle though fortunately none recording side discs. edges seem smooth in cases dye faults in evidence.
Overburning nothing spectacular 81m 57s. a fair amount noise fastest speeds much other types I tried.
I've tested discs now a combination original audio compilations (image) copied audio CDs PSX backups VideoCD data CD compilations. I written 24x 4x in a Yamaha CRW-3200 8x in a Pioneer DVR-104. worked perfectly. Audio ones play back fine in my Denon DCD-695 (15 year old) JVC XL-E300 CD players Pioneer DVD-106 DVD-ROM in my (30003) PS2 PSX. Similarly PSX backups VideoCD data CDs play flawlessly in every device should do. conclude I probably buy discs very cheap come a data retention guarantee I'm a bit concerned lightness dye - I currently use Verbatim DataLife Plus although expensive I trust still working in 5 10 years - I'm so sure ones... could well good Kodak Gold Ultima discs. Royalmale thanks m8 received mine yesterday so far 5 3 mp3s sound great 2 an svcd film works great in my panasonic dvd player....top quality cheers

I wrote 2 data CD's 48X my Liteon 40x12x48 updates 48x12x48 firmware version VS04 problems wrote in under 2 1/2 mins reads in my rom drives. Wrote 4 MP3 discs also 48X plays in my Pioneer Car Stereo probs audio CD's (although I wrote 12X my Plextor SCSI 12X10X32 drive).
2 PS2 games written 8X (on Plex SCSI) - also probs.
In my opinion discs good (if better) anything currently available only thing I query other people mentioned - shelf life how long remain readable only time tell.

Lesley burned mp3's vcd's wave hp plexy pioneer. hp gave me two coasters 4 speed think thats writer though plexy pioneer had probs burning x12 skipping jumping copied back h/d problems all.

Out bulqpaqs I had I Audio CDs. quality burn varied. discs had skipping (all my mp3s flawless so source problem) parts very end disc sometime didnt finish burning. last part last song sometimes get cut off. Other minor problems a solid brand. I definately buy price right definetely price was steep because quality isnt exactly ace.
U-571 got odd dodgy one myself last track finishing half way through. Results absolutely superb I've really pushed well. work anything load fast coasters etc.... top surface descreet labelling adequate writting still providing protection disc. I buy - got another 200 coming today.....
Tipsy bulkpaq disks cheap & servicable quality media quite crap really thin & scratch too easy... never recomend anyone.. first batch I bought good second lot 200 I've got I wouldnt anything apart back up data... going back my unbranded ritek disks
