Although the specifications state that DVD-RAM media can be read at 5x speed I was only able to get the DVR-111 to read the disc at 2x speed. This is probably because to only DVD-RAM media I had available was 1x speed burn & the expected higher reading speed of DVD-RAM media can only be done with higher burning speed discs. I will check this as soon as I can obtain some faster DVD-RAM media
The PIF results with DVD-RAM media are excessive and do not reflect correctly as to the quality of the media so only the PI results are taken into consideration
